July 5: The End

Welcome to St Mark’s Home Church, wherever you are in the world! As you scroll down you can follow the form of the service at your own pace with space for interaction, Bible readings, song and prayer as you feel led.

If you’re doing this with your family, you can head over here to access additional content for kid’s church today.

Worship

Thanks to the team for bringing us this music today. Feel free to sing your own songs, or you can find more songs on our slowly growing worship playlist.

Daniel 10:1-21

Today’s message is also going to touch on elements from Daniel chapters 11 and 12. If you haven’t read these chapters before, you might like to do so now… but be warned, there’s a lot going on!

Message

We’ve jammed three chapters into one talk, so feel free to go at your own pace.

At the end of this, Kim took a sigh of relief :) Thanks for journeying with us during our time of exile. We’re excited to be getting back in two weeks!

Prayers

We invite you to take some time to pray with your household, in silence, or journal your own prayers, using the prompts above.

The Lord’s Prayer

Our Father in heaven,
hallowed be your name,
your kingdom come,
your will be done,
on earth as in heaven.
Give us today our daily bread.
Forgive us our sins
as we forgive those who sin against us.
Save us from the time of trial,
and deliver us from evil.
For the kingdom, the power,
and the glory are yours
now and for ever.
Amen.

Giving

Thanks to all of those who continue to give to support our ministries. If you’d like to give to support the work of our church as we reopen, click the button below.

Friday service

We were thrilled to have our first service reopen on Friday! It was a great start to the reopening process and it was wonderful to see people in person. Our Sunday services will be reopening on July 19th. You can read more about our reopening process here. (Remember you can click on the images below to enlarge them!)

Ready to come back?

We’d appreciate it if you could take a few minutes to complete our Getting Back survey. It will be helpful for us to know about your readiness to return to church as we seek to care for everyone. Based on church attendance prior to lockdown, our 10am service will still have more people than we are able to easily accommodate. There may be some attendees who will be willing to come to 8.30am or 6pm, or to attend on a Friday. This information will help us with planning.

Thanks!

We leave you with the final verse of Daniel…

13 As for you, go your way till the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the days you will rise to receive your allotted inheritance.

See you next week for our last online service!
